I am a family man and have been living in Gloucester since 2004. I share my home with my partner Diana, youngest son Dan and two dogs; Milo (Boxer) and Daisy (Dachshund). Prior to 2004 I had served in the Royal Air Force and typically moved location every few years; including bases all over the UK and 3 years in Nova Scotia, Canada.

During my military career I flew thousands of hours on aeroplanes and helicopters. I travelled all over the world and met some wonderful people. I also learned the value of effective teamwork - something that endures to this day.

Nowadays I am committed to photography but still love to travel and sample the outdoors life. I enjoy hiking, wild camping, climbing and long walks with Diana and the dogs. I rarely go out without a camera in my pack.

Over the last 10 - 15 years I have gathered experience across a number of genres of photography; including: portraits, weddings, equestrian, bands, boudoir, commercial and landscapes. But over the last 5 years I have focussed my attention on just weddings and portraits - I don’t want to be considered as the ’jack of all trades and master of none’ . More importantly though, wedding photography gives me the opportunity to meet lots of people and have some fun in my work.

I continue to learn new skills and seek opportunities to hone my technique by attending workshops and training. I take my inspiration from lots of photographers; including: Peter Lindbergh, Joe Buissink, Nathan Elson, Katelyn James, Ben Hartley, Peter Coulson, Steve McCurry and Albert Watson.
