Chesmu photographer Steve Griffin is a member of the Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers (SIFGP) and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP); he is also a member of the Headshot Crew, the world's largest team of specialist headshot and portrait photographers.
Our aim is to use a selection of techniques to really pull life out of our subjects. Of course we still want to capture the beauty of a smile, but not everyone smiles. So we like to focus on those expressions that make the subject unique. We also like to shoot portraits outdoors - frequently we are able to find a combination of natural light and colourful backdrops that allow us to create a cinematic-style headshot.
